I have signed up for Where are you now which shows my travelling plans for the next year. I plan to spend 6 months in Brisbane and another 6 in Sydney but this might change once getting out there. I have also added an Australia travel photos section to my website, this should hopefully get more interesting soon!

Work wise, once I have settled down and had a bit of a holiday I plan to work for myself as a freelance SEO consultant. Having recently setup a company intranet using Sharepoint and having spent a year doing .NET programming I did consider seeking work as a SharePoint developer. I’ve found no search engine optimisation companies of real interest in Brisbane and as my visa only allows me to work for the same company for a period of 3 months freelance SEO seems to be a far more sensible and interesting option. Plus it allows me to work during my own time and get to see Australia during the day whilst working in the evenings! ;)
