Google AdWords will now assess your landing pages as part of it’s Quality Score algorithm. The new addition to Quality Score was announced in December but was only applied to Google AdSense until now.
This means it is now more important than ever to have a landing page relevant to your ad on a well designed website. Having a high quality score helps determine an ad’s positioning, meaning that you can rank higher even if you pay less than you competitors. With a good landing page you can now further reduce your CPC or vice versa.
