I’ve finally got around to reading The Google Story by David Vise, I’m only about half way through the book at the moment but it has already given an insightful and interesting view into how Larry Page and Sergey Brin started Google.

I’ve learnt a couple of things from this, including that it was Yahoo cofounder David Filo who suggested Larry and Sergey start their own company after failing to sell the PageRank algorithm to AltaVista, Excite and Yahoo!
