		<description>I agree that ICANN&#039;s move increases the scope for cybersquatting and brand infringement but my understanding from analysis by websidestory amongst others was that the majority of internet  navigation is direct rather than via search engines. Is this not the case?</description>

		<description>I think you are disregarding the other two elements these recent changes bring to the world: 1)Inclusion of more people based on language incorporation 2) Branding development for the companies/individuals that can pay the lower-six-figure application.

Phising and other problems will continue with ASCII  domais, IDNs and the new formats. Plus, for major brands, spoofing has not been that effective for ranking purposes. What I see is high especulation coming up plus the value of the most important gTLDs going up.</description>
