Saying that blackhat costs Google money, so Google will remove all blackhat sites is a ridiculous statement. I don't think Google will ever be able to remove ALL of the blackhat sites from their index because it's such an incredibly complex and difficult task. The seo game has gotten harder over the last years for all sides and I don't see it as an inevitable demise for any seo hat, but IMO if someone is to go whitehats will go first :).
