I agree twitter is the best if you know other tools to be used with twitter to get the most out of it. Even i tried Digg n Reddit but my link didn’t receive even a single click so i stopped using it n kept on wondering how ppl get so many diggs, etc.

It’s not suprising that internet marketing articles don’t get on Digg or Reddit. They’re sites for articles that garner a lot of media related attention and what it’s readers are interested in. Internet Marketing is inherently not interesting to 99% of the general news population, the same reason why you’d very rarely see it in a real-world, physical newspaper.

And I’m not suprised even more when 9/10 of these types of articles submitted are done by users who join the sites just to post one article and disappear again. I’m all into internet marketing, but not even I would be interested in seeing it on Digg or Reddit, that’s why I keep my reading on internet marketing for sites like Sphinn.

I agree with you 110% about twitter. It’s not only better for SEO or marketing types but I find the community overall to be much more warm and friendly. As a matter of fact twitter is one of my top traffic sources. I don’t really tweet my own link much but lots of people interested will stop by your twitter page and visit your url. Definitely Twitter FTW. :-)

ps: Not to mention Twitter is I think the best networking tool of all the current popular social media sites. I’ve met so many cool contacts and friends from all around the world as a result of my Twittering.

I guess you are saying that in terms of cost (time) benefit analysis, Twitter is the way to go. There are so many options today that sometimes it’s difficult to know what to spend time on, what will be the lasting trends?
