I have no proof that Buzz passes any reputation, or even helps a page get crawled/indexed - I have one public test that has been running for 6 days and the destination page isn't indexed. I have other private tests running, and will post some more public ones - which tests have you seen? I'm not sure how much can be extrapolated from not getting indexed by Google after a week (particularly since the rest of the site has not been indexed since the Buzz post), but I sort of doubt that posting a link in Buzz is going to be a silver bullet.
