If anyone thought their Twitter-based business was going to last for more than a year, then they should learn to do some market research. How long has the social media market been around? How long did MySpace last? Is MySpace still viable for some developers and advertisers? There are not many social media networks that have been around for more than a decade. It's hard to put much trust into a market that has only been around for a decade. All these social media companies constantly change and adapt to users' needs and the company's needs. If you are developing for social media, you must also learn to adapt and change to meet the new policies that are reworded every month.
