I had some serious issues today using advanced segments as I was attempting to create a segment thateExcluded organic visitors searching for the client's company name and any miss-spelt version and direvitives of their name. I came into the problem that I was unable to create more than 20 "and" or "or" joins, but needed to exclude 46 keywords. I ended up using the "does not match regular expression" clause and dumped all the keywords into this field seperated by the pipe and escaping any special characters. This might help someone.

Any ways thanks for the post.

It's worth noting that you need to use the regular expression below to ensure you capture exact matches of your brand term variations.

^brand$|^my brand$|^another brand variation$

Really good information, most clients do not know that brand searches skew the analytics. This will be a good way to funnel the brand searches to a different page on the website and the rest to a more "what we can do for you" type page
