Kevin and I are speaking at a4uexpo London in October in the session Post Panda: Affiliates’ Guide to Surviving Google (2.30pm day one).
We’re currently working on the presentation and thought it would be a good idea to reach out to our readers in order to ask: what are your biggest challenges in SEO?
This is going to be largely targeted at affiliates – so looking at challenges such as: ‘how to add more content?’, ‘how to appear as a brand rather than a thin affiliate site?’ and of course ‘how do you avoid a panda slap?!’
But we also want to hear from you and look to answer your common questions and challenges – so please let us know in the comments below…

Hi guys,
The three proposed questions are great. I’d also like to see:
- How to write about products if you know nothing about them (e.g. medical insurance)
- What are Google likely to do next (what is the new Panda)
- Are exact match domains safe from future penalties?
Drop me a message if you want me to elabroate on these or share my thoughts.
Best of luck
Mike
My challenge is to find link partners in Serbia with .rs domains
I think it would be good to get and idea as to what SEO techniques affiliates are currently using and what is working well, i.e. press releases, submitting to directories, article marketing etc. I think since the Panda update, many people have had to adapt their linking strategy. The problem is this has caused many issues for the struggling affiliate to get their site noticed. I will be at the expo this year as I am an affiliate manager for one of the Uk’s leading car insurance brands so I would be keen to see what you have to say.
My biggest challenge for SEO is link building with quality content that can go viral. In order to build links, we need something really creative to let people to spread the content and attract links.
